Our flag does not fly because the wind moves, it flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it.

On the Golden Jubilee of VijayDiwas, let us recollect with gratitude the valour of our men in uniform who fought for the liberation of Bangladesh in 1971.

The nation salutes their heroics on the battlefield and their zeal to stand up for the ideals of liberty and humanity.
